Beaton, Judy

I graduated in 1966, got married in 1967, had two lovely baby boys in fairly short order, and several bends in the road brought me to Chilliwack BC. Christine Newsome lives here, and she and I are close friends. Susan Flye is here too. Brenda (Freeman) Campbell and I have remained friends, and Carole (Wise) and Warren McGee and I keep in touch.

I've been very lucky to have had three long relationships with three good men. My third (and final!) one, Graham, is a retired college instructor, and we travel every chance we get -- most recently to Morocco in September. My kids live in Vancouver -- one does background visuals for concerts, raves, etc., and the other one is a musician. I have a seriously overweight and supremely interesting Burmese cat.

I work at the University College of the Fraser Valley, and I'm very involved with Chilliwack's community theatre group -- as pianist, musical director, actress and webmaster (http://members.shaw.ca/judyhill). Graham and I have a Grand Canyon rafting trip booked in May 2005 and won't be able to attend the reunion, but I'm sure it will be wonderful. Congratulations, Bev, on the great website!
