Bio :

Since graduation in 67’ I have had my ups and downs, as did a number of people ( so I am not alone ). I moved to Toronto in 68’, and started a career in the computer business and ended up working for Honeywell Controls in Scarborough. I enjoyed 13 years there, with the final position as a methods analyst in the industrial engineering department. In 82’ I was a victim of a recession fuelled house cleaning, and spent the next year looking for employment in the same field. With the realization that my training was unique to Honeywell, I decided to make a career change. I was fortunate enough to be offered an apprenticeship to become a licensed carpenter, and it has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I have made. I currently have my own business , http://www.aspengroveltd.on.ca , specializing in cabinetry and finish carpentry, and I will probably be doing this until I drop dead on the shop floor.

I married Kathi in 82’, and adopted her children Rick, Bryan and Jason. I have been blessed with a great soul mate and partner. We are also enjoying our 2 grandchildren born to our eldest son, Rick. We live the quiet life in rural Ontario, 20 mins. west of Lindsay, and approximately 50 mins. north of Oshawa . Bryan is the furthest removed, living in Toronto, and Jason, our youngest, is recently engaged to be married. My mother, Dorothy, who was a secretary at Riverdale for a number of years, still resides in Pierrefonds.
